The Children’s Policy Cooperative of Jefferson County and the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center invite the community to attend their free “Back to School” event on Saturday, July 11th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the 5 Points West Library, located at 4812 Avenue W in Birmingham. This family-focused event will provide valuable educational and community resources, including back-to-school supplies, guest speakers, resource vendors, medical information, and door prize drawings. Families with young children can also take advantage of free developmental screenings for children ages 1 to 5. Designed to connect residents with tools and services that support academic success and overall well-being, this event offers something for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to come out, gather resources, meet community partners, and prepare for a successful school year.
