Republican front-runner Donald Trump made perhaps the most extreme statement of his political career, calling for a “total and complete” ban on Muslims entering the U.S. “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”
“Are we going to be politically correct, or are we going to be stupid?” Trump asked a crowd of more than 2,000 people inside the aircraft carrier Yorktown.
